KIRKUS REVIEW

This is an intricate but solid tale of Turkish opium smuggling with police Colonel Nut Arslan in enterprising pursuit. Among those present are a bumbling (British) businessman, two attractive woman, and Arslan's likable scoundrel of a father while several cases of antique erotic statues are embroiled in the trip-trapping goings-on. Satisfactory plus.
