THE MAN WHOSE DREAMS CAME TRUE

A courtroom thriller with a poetic justice theme as relentless as the story pace. Although gigolos are among the least sympathetic of characters, Symons shows the forces that shape a handsome, passive Tony Jones with his dream of jobless security through marriage to a wealthy woman. With understanding comes misplaced sympathy, especially after Tony's acquittal of the murder he was framed for and his emergence into the raddled arms and insatiable loins of the rich widow who engineered his defense. Fast reading and one of Symons' best.
