This is the fifth issue in Harper's Annotated Bible Series. It should be one of the most valuable ones for Jeremiah is one of the most difficult books of the Bible for the average reader to understand. More than one Bible student, having resolved to read the Bible from cover to cover has gotten stuck in the book of Jeremiah never to get out. There is precious gold in this book and Professor Bewer's introduction and notes to the King James version offer a handy tool for its extraction.
