THE PLEASURE BOOK

A Bright Idea book for those who could do with a few simple joys between daily sessions of toting that bale. Fast has interviewed upwards of sixty happy sybarites who have discovered such peak pleasures as: building sand castles, wandering in the night (in the city, try a roof), scuba diving, digging the aesthetics of the colors all around you, climbing trees, loaing, even cleaning out or organizing a drawer. Then there are midweek, midday movies, picnics, cats, good ice cream, wildflowers, skinny-dipping, massage, people-watching, etc., etc. Whatever turns you on. Fast's interviewees are generally entertaining and speak up loud and clear for their pleasures. A nice incidental, especially for those days when you wish you had stood in bed.
