James Porbeagle, however inconspicuously yclept, is a very pleasant fellow--a university tutor who now devotes himself after hours to why his student Linda Watton seems so distrait. Her grandmother has died, and even though her family (a very exclusive, guarded one) is accident prone--she did slip away in a diabetic coma. All of this is very closely, quietly, believably pursued and it provides exemplary entertainment.
