KIRKUS REVIEW

Lynn's ""two homes"" are a product of her parents' divorce, but as Lynn misses each parent when she is with the other, she makes up a friend named Janelle--and once both Mom and Dad say Janelle can stay, ""Lynn thought how nice it was to share two homes with a friend. And how lucky she was to have a mom and dad who cared enough to also share."" Salzman's Keene-eyed cuties, composed of star-dust dots rather than lines, are as shallow and unengaging as the story is flat and perfunctory.
