THE GIRLS' BOOK OF SKATING; THE GIRLS' BOOK OF BALLROOM DANCING
by ‧RELEASE DATE: Jan. 25, 1959
These two books offer help to girls at every level of accomplishment in skating and dancing. Proper equipment for skating, plain and figure skating, skating as a career,- are discussed with diagrams given for the execution of various steps. Also diagrammed are various dance steps in the second book, which extend from the simple fox trot to the more involved dances. Both books are generously illustrated with photographs and include profiles of prominent members of both fields as well as suggested careers in the respective fields. Somewhat slanted to the British point of view, they are nonetheless clear and helpful.
