HOW TO LIVE LONGER

In the public interest, and at a popular level, this is a survey of the disease hazards to which we are most likely to succumb, the ""incidence and mechanisms"" of the commoner causes of death which the layman, if informed, may be able to forestall. Life expectancy figures; the predominant danger signals and safeguards to be taken; the leading killer, their symptoms, their possible treatment (heart, cancer, pneumonia, T.B., diabetes, syphilis); accidents, suicide, infant mortality, etc. With supporting statistics, this provides cautionary counsel.
