WHAT'S YOUR CALORIC NUMBER by Justus J. Schifferes

WHAT'S YOUR CALORIC NUMBER

By

Publisher: Macmillan

Even though Mr. Schifferes' central contention is no newer than ""swift on the lips, forever on the hips,"" there's no arguing against the fact that reduction via calorie intake is the best way to weigh in less. What does differentiate his book are the caloric requirement charts, the what-to-eat menus all the way from 700 to 2000 calories, the peripheral aids (appetite-killers for in between meals; no-or-low-calorie substitutes; an introductory curtailment diet) which all sound very helpful. Exercise, nutritional values, and emotional factors are also included but the primary value of the book is the stringent regimen advocated and applied with mathematical precision.
