THE YACHTSMAN'S ANNUAL 1948-1949

This is a yearbook of British racing, and since this is certainly an international sport, the value is not confined to British public, but should have a fairly defined appeal for the American market. The classes range from dinghies to internationals, in this record of perhaps the most brilliant of British seasons. The Olympic yacht races were held in British waters for the first time since 1908; British contenders entered the Bermuda races, which brings the stories close to American home waters; the Santander race is here, class racing regattas, special articles and eye witness accounts, cruising yarns -- these for the readers. There are included numerous plans for new yachts, and superb photographs, over 100, which record the season of 1948-49.
