A WINTER IN MALLORCA

An entertaining addition to the company of South Wind satellites, and good reading, of the amusing, satirical and essentially modern genre. The setting is the melting pot of Mallorca (since it has been ""discovered""), and a fantastic collection of people make confusion worse confounded for Peter, who has brought his bride and his mother-in-law to Mallorca, so that he may have a peaceful setting in which to write a novel. The daily round is a carousel -- much more entertaining to read about than to share.
