Lilianne, petulant, languid Lilianne, left behind when her husband moves on to Washington, secures a Mexican divorce, then renounces her alimony to marry Judson Guthrie, attractive, ambiguous. She realizes why-he was paid by her former husband to relieve him of Lilianne, but it doesn't quite work. . . .
