ARTS AND RELIGION

Here, drawn together in one volume, are four lectures delivered at the Colgate-Rochester Theological Seminary under the Ayer lectureship. The first three lectures deal with the expression of religion in painting and sculpture, in architecture, and in music, while the fourth by Professor Eastman is entitled ""The Dramatist and the Minister"". These lectures, originally delivered to theological students, deserve wider attention from the clergy, as well as from those interested in any of the arts and their association with religion.
