The disturbing post-marital encounters with Jock (who is drinking too much -- and not too happy with the bed he feathered); the loss of Ann's first baby; her doubts of her own feelings for Colin solved finally when they have twins and she realizes that she is in love with her husband -- and over Jock. A not-too-routine romance, with light dialogue.
