KIRKUS REVIEW

A detestable, sadistic young doctor, who has murdered once, holds a classmate's family in his power as he makes his home with them, isolates them from the outside world, promises punishment if they divulge his secret. Practically a study of hatred, culminating in intimidation, this is fairly unpleasant- improbable reading.
