In a sixth book about her, Angelina (a mouse) suffers mortification when she falls off the swing at school, and even her new best friend, Alice, seems to desert her. But this is easily resolved when Alice chooses her as partner for a gymnastics exhibition at which the two have a great success. This slight (though not-unfamiliar) drama is the occasion for spritely, detailed illustrations, full of action, humor, and the charm of mice behaving like humans. Amusing, but not essential.
