THE LITTLE RED LIGHTHOUSE AND THE GREAT GRAY BRIDGE
by ‧RELEASE DATE: Sept. 24, 1942
New Yorkers yound and old should all see this, then go to pay their respects to the spunky useful little red lighthouse, which sits under the George Washington Bridge right on the edge of the Hudson. The many illustrations by Lynd Ward are superb and the text is a treat. Boys will particularly enjoy the various pictures of tugs, steamers and other phases of river and harbor life.
