KIRKUS REVIEW

Late arrival of galleys makes this addition possible. The above report is misleading. The book is definitely and unequivocally anti-bonus. It is a thorough, a well documented study of our politics ridden pension system, from the Civil War, Mexican War, Spanish-American War system down to the present. The Legion is largely to blame. The facts are unknown to the majority of the public and this book should be read by every thoughtful citizen and by all remotely connected with the problem of bonus or pensions. Sensational enough to bring wide publicity. The publishers promise extensive advertising.
