In an appealing wordless book, a score of rabbits, each with a balloon, leave Mom and their home in the woods for a joyous escapade, hopping over the fields and into the house of an astonished family. Ebulliently inquisitive, they explore and try out everything—even the tub where Grandpa is taking a bubble bath—then hop out the window and soar home. The art here is far less sophisticated than Wiesner's for Tuesday (p. 325/C-63), but these rabbits are full of life and good humor. A thoroughly enjoyable romp. (Picture book. 3-8)
