Norris' name holds but this is no proof that it should. The heroine loves her employer, throws over her childhood fiancÉ to marry him, and is jilted. She is crippled in an accident, and, to escape pity and being a burden, goes to her uncle's primitive ranch to live. There she writes and recovers the use of her leg. New York -- and her attractive publisher eventually gets her, but not before she gets jilted again by her previous jilter. Really! Hackneyed and insubstantial, but---
