AN APPLE FOR EVE

All as her public likes it, and a better story than she has given them lately, with well proportioned people and problems. This is the story of Loveday, who keeps her promise to marry weak, shiftless Larry, even though she gets an introduction to better things in Chris, rich, successful, brilliant. Years later, when Chris is free again, he comes back to Loveday, who in the interim has taken on responsibilities with three children. Larry is jealous -- and leaves her to join the RCAF, without waiting for her to reach a decision. She, meantime, decides to stick to her duties, and Larry comes back, a wounded hero. Contemporary -- but with the usual patterned patter.
