KIRKUS REVIEW

There seems to be an undiscriminating and voracious rental market for Kathleen Norris, but for those who weigh her books in the balance, here is one that will be found wanting. Under an unknown author's name, it would be passed by. It is the story of two sisters and their respective marriages, and particularly of one sister who sacrificed love and happiness to save her sister from a breath of scandal. Superficial and unimportant. And very carelessly edited.
