BRAZIL: Awakening, Giant

So confused as to seem almost accidental, this is a potpourri of references to a Brazilian exchange student in the United States, quick trip around Brazil, longer visits to jungle, plantation, city, etc., stopover with an American exchange student, a little culture, a little current affairs, and considerable history. Within this unfocused framework is a mass of miscellaneous information about economic and social conditions--much of it repetitious, some of it pointless, and almost none of it readable.
