A GOOD PARTNER

Science-minded Neal Bartlett had plans of his own when he went to call on his legal guardian Tom Clark, who trapped mink and raised mink in northern Wisconsin. He planned to push West, to new lands opened at Boulder Dam, to experiment with new farming there. But when Tom showed him some of his experiments, Neal realized there was plenty of exciting science right there. In writing of the cooperation of two eager minds, the author has managed to make Mendelian heredity as it works out with mink a thing of excitement and passion. Happy times- fishing, hunting, building, and a charming daughter of a wealthy neighbor add teen-age interest. Exceptional for the science-minded.
