KIRKUS REVIEW

Another glittering potpourri of stories and pictures -- sure to appeal to sea and ship devotees through variety alone. There are brief stories of boys and girls in sea adventures, poems and songs, with Gustaf Tenggren illustrations in which the sea has never looked so luminous and inviting, so full of wonderful things -- tossing full-rigged ships, oth waves, and terrible monster whales. The stories are jolly and on the light side. This should be helped by the current showings of Treasure Island.
