SURPRISE FOR SUSAN

A joyful, friendly book about the coming of the new baby -- flatteringly centered on the older child. Susan couldn't guess what the wonderful thing was that Mommy would bring home. Was it a red ball? was it candy? a puppy dog? And when she saw the bundle in Mommy's arms she thought it was a doll. But the family were laughing and Susan was introduced to her new baby brother. ""How do, Baby,"" said Susan and everyone was happy, but Susan happiest of all. An appealing approach, simple and repetitious enough for children to ""guess"" along with Susan.
