With the increasing popularity of the hibachi as an outdoor (or indoor) cooking grill, this excellent barbecue cookbook provides a wide range of foods and methods, adaptable to the hibachi. Hot hors d'oeuvres, prepared individually by guests while they sip their drinks; a full menu- meat, fish, vegetables, even desserts, can be prepared hibachi style. One is accustomed to thinking of confining charcoal cookery to the general run of barbecue foods, but here are special marinates, sauces, variations on methods that sound tempting -- and that are presented in concise, practical fashion.
