KIRKUS REVIEW

Cooper's drab-looking introduction surveys the goldfish's sense organs and other features, then briefly describes a few common varieties--including a relative, the koi, which grows to about sixteen inches and must be kept in an outdoor pond! But the emphasis is on setting up and maintaining the indoor tank--lights, air, filters, etc., with tips on care and feeding and the treatment of sick and newly hatched fish. Slight, but unobjectionable.
