KIRKUS REVIEW

Exorcistic tush in which Vanessa, former librarian, goes to England as research assistant to ""sneering and asinine"" Whitney Medford who has inherited a house from his grandmother who still seems to be around during the late hours of the night -- along with flying teacups and saucery, a child crying somewhere, etc. Everyone except Whitney is convinced including psychic investigator Eric who falls in love with Vanessa. Unless you're very susceptible (the writing is pretty bad) the tedium is the message.
