KIRKUS REVIEW

Commodore Tancredi Dalton of the Space Navy succeeds in alienating future doves and hawks by confronting the reptilian enemy's fleet and refusing to annihilate it. Partisan intrigues eddy about him but our hero stands resolutely above politics, sacrificing his career on the principle that you have to be willing to fight to keep the peace. Very busy but oddly sketchy.
