KIRKUS REVIEW

James Retief (Galactic Diplomat, 1965 p. 274) is back trying to be diplomatic until the Vion tribe of planet Quopp comes up with a one world, one government power ploy that makes one wonder. Retief must unite the rest of the tribes which may look like an assortment of Hollywood nightmares but sound like familiar Terran types--Brooklyn, English, Jewish, Chinese dialects etc. Meanwhile, a space boat load full of real Terran females has crashed in the 19,000 mile unexplored jungle...Space burlesque that never takes itself seriously, it's fun.
