HENRY REED'S JOURNEY

By

Pub Date: June 1st, 1963

Henry Reed rides again-- this time his journal takes him (with the ever faithful Midge) from San Francisco to New Jersey and from giggles to laughs aloud. Henry's purpose is serious. He intends it as an extraordinary guide book that gives the real, inside-low-down on things that seldom get told to trippers; like where to buy firecrackers, where to get good root beer and ""whether the natives of the different towns are friendly or hostile"". The accounts of Henry and Midge in Disneyland, at the Grand Canyon and how they help to make the Wild West wilder is a satisfying armchair travelogue that will tickle the funnybones of a large group of readers. The many who have made this trip will enjoy it even more.
