THE NAVY by Keith Robertson

Email this review

Another addition to the Viking Armed Service Library, this fact-filled description of the navy comes well up to the standard set by the previous volumes on the army, coast guard, and the marines. The various avenues of service with the navy are indicated and the training opportunities and advantages of naval service are underlined. Without resorting to high-pressure techniques, Keith Robertson makes a convincing argument for joining the navy and at the same time points out possible reasons why the potential draftee might do well to choose some other branch of the armed forces in which to serve.
