Easy on the gray matter, but entertainingly dialogued sleuthing by Jeff and Halla Troy as their new apartment in Gay Street (NYC) is tenanted by a corpse. Blackmail background for death dealing, as the Troys snoop into the lives of their fellow tenants, evade the police, and land in their own brand of trouble. They trap the killer and save their own skins. Pleasant going.
