MYSTERY OF Z-CANYON

Even though Steve's a ""husky"" sixteen-year-old helping another boy, Joe, with a Husky dog up against six ""husky"" (Mr. Gilbert is a man of obviously few words) gyppo loggers in the Northwest, this is a scrawny mystery. Steve and his friend Doc are rock hounds when they happen on Joe in the Northwestern woods and help to put an end to the stealing of timber from him and his father. . . . All in ""dream-come-true"" cliche which should sack those younger right out in their sleeping bags.
