KIRKUS REVIEW

Provenance's provenance coincides happily with just what has been mis-happening in the international art world, here localized in London where the death of a ""screever""--a pavement artist and also of a gallery owner synchronizes with the appearance of a new? old? Seurat and some other paintings which have been out of circulation. Inspector James of the C.I.D. and his Sgt. Honeybody officiate and the so-so interest of the case is souped up in heavy Cockney with daubs of ""yumor.
