Type plot and setting combine to produce the orthodox western that has as its aim a mine found and since lost- by some Conquistador henchmen four hundred years ago in Arizona. Easterner Frank comes to Phoenix to help his friend Bob who's planning the expedition with rich Mr. Dawson, Crooks also on the trail capture them on the threshold of discovery, but are deceived, and proof, at least if not gold, is found of the Spaniards having been there before them.
