A new edition of Tynan's flashing cape and sword commentary on the corridas observed in Spain in 1952 (and appearing here on the Harper list in 1955). Tynan has added some ""afterthoughts"" on the scene revisited since then, on the ring today dominated by what the Spanish call ""tremendismo"" or sensationalism, as epitomized by the popular performer El Cordobes as against the artist, Ordonez, the torero de epoca.
