BIG MAX IN THE MYSTERY OF THE MISSING MOOSE

Hot on the trail of Marvin, the zoo's missing moose, Platt's big-footed detective Big Max--who flies through the air with an umbrella and stumbles about on land with magnifying glass and deer-stalker--follows an AH-HUMM to the parking lot (it's a car's stuck horn), an OOM-PA-PA to the park (a band concert), and an AH-MA-HOOOM out to sea (foghorns). Still confident, Big Max rows on to an arctic island where he's rewarded with the AH-MA-HOOOM of Marvin himself--wafted from his cage by zoo balloons, as Big Max had figured all along. For slapstick fans, Platt hams it up with gags and crashes.
