THE MYSTERY MARE ROSINA COPPER

A well written horse story has autobiographical overtones and is based on the life of a real polo pony who made a comeback as a champion British show horse. Felled in a match in the early 30's, Rosina Copper lived in obscurity until she was discovered and bought by Mrs. Meg Gibson who owned stables near Bournemouth and had faith in Copper even though she had become an erratic, disturbed animal. Nearby lived 13-year old Angie, the ""I"" of the story and it is through Angie's regular visits and working hours at the Gibson's stables that we watch Rosina's recovery. The methods and techniques used will fascinate horse fans and the successes will thoroughly satisfy.
