LITTLE BOY LOST IN BRAZIL by Kurt Wiese

LITTLE BOY LOST IN BRAZIL

Pub Date: Oct. 6th, 1942

In spite of the title which should not be so similar to the famous Hudson story, this book illustrated by its well-loved author has much that is commendable. The jacket is poor but the other pictures are full of flavor. Young Carlito while visiting his grandfather decided to go off alone into the jungle in search of Sacies, the Brownies of Brazil. He was thoroughly lost, only saw the little creatures in his dream, but he learned a great deal about the extraordinary life of the jungle.
