KIRKUS REVIEW

A primer with good tent material -- children under reading age would like the Pattern of the story of Mr. and Mrs. Wren and of how she wanted the nest in one house and he in another. There's the repetition of words, the rhythm of sound that small children like. And the nature content is of the sort to encourage children to watch for themselves.
