KIRKUS REVIEW

Fiddlefooted Lew Reagan proves that he can be a knight at arms-- to Susan Harby, stranded on her way west to collect the ranch left her by an uncle. Learning that Frank Tillander has appropriated her land, and that he is quick to discredit Reagan's motives and Susan's morals, Reagan makes her fight his, even though the rerewards are few -- he rides on alone... Satisfactory but not superior.
