A GUN FOR DINOSAUR and Other Imaginative Tales

KIRKUS REVIEW

An established entertainer conjures up old and new worlds in a generous collection of shorter pieces. There are trips in time-- a safari back to the Early Upper Cretaceous and a tyrannosaur too big to handle, forward to a utopian colony on another planet; there are mechanisms and organisms-- a 100 foot snake, 3000 pound ape men, extra-terrestial plants and people; and there's a variety, inventivity and humor which gives this a definite superiority in the genre.
