This is a good one. There's double interest, for in addition to the mystery, which dominates the story, and is revealed bit by bit, and convincingly, there is also a good tale to two boys, sharply contrasting temperaments, and of basketball. The main character is delightfully, and annoyingly, human, and no plaster saint. The setting is a mining village in Wyoming.
