KIRKUS REVIEW

Not all flowers will thrive in indoor pots and tubs but Kramer provides his usual reliable advice for those that will. Although much of this information is obvious--expectable notes on moisture, sunlight, feeding, containers--some tips are original, such as germinating seeds via the warmth of a refrigerator top. Specifics are given for more than 50 kinds of flowers, bulbs, and vines. And even if the flowers fail to flourish, the investment is less than the cost of half a dozen hot house blooms.
