IMPROVING YOUR MEMORY

Harry Lorayne, move over. Cermak (Sir Mac: think of a knight in full armor wearing a kilt) has a similarly ludicrous and cumbersome list of memory aids for people with holes in their brains. Of course you'll have to rehearse the queer mnemonics you substitute for the grocery lists, phone numbers, names and textbook trivia you can't remember to begin with--whether words for numbers, numbers for words, three words for one, or a bizarre and exaggerated image for the name of Harry Walker whom you won't know very well or for very long anyway if you associate him with a pigeon-toed Neanderthal creep.
