KIRKUS REVIEW

Determined to get to Yemen, the author is sidetracked, through rigid rules, in Aden and picks up a great many bits of information, rumors, gossip about the situation in Abyssinia since Italy's conquest, about Italian methods of undermining the British power round and about the Red Sea, about tribal warfare and local troubles. It's good enough reading of its sort though it is in the scarehead tradition.
