Police investigation for the murder of a Hollywood scene designer and eccentric who hires three writers to produce a script for him on condition that they live in his home which already houses a hostile mathematician, a housekeeper, a bodyguard, several , and various transitory females. The murdered man's schemes for marriage with money as motive prove his undoing. A touch screwball -- but entertaining.
