DOES GRANDMA HAVE AN ELMO ELEPHANT JUNGLE KIT?

Does Grandma have an Elmo Elephant jungle kit? If not, says Donald, ""there won't be anything for me to do"" when he visits her for the weekend. So Donald insists on packing his plastic soldiers, magic kit, and all the toys he can cram into his suitcase. The rest of the story pans through all the activities Grandma and Grandpa have planned for Donald's weekend--aquarium visit, marshmallow roast, nature walk, home puppet show, picnic, and a new and better magic set he doesn't get time to play with. ""Can I go again soon,"" Donald asks his parents at the end. Unfortunately even the forced-fun title promises more entertainment than the story delivers. Numeroff hews so doggedly to making her point that this reads like one of those cheerful preparations for a stay in the hospital.
